Blessing of the Fleet Ceremony & Celebration, Bellingham
The Whatcom Commercial Fishermen’s Association proudly announces the annual Blessing of the Fleet Memorial Ceremony Saturday, May 16, 2015 at the Squalicum Harbor Fishermen’s Memorial Statue in Zuanich Park.
The Whatcom Commercial Fishermen’s Association is proud to host this important Memorial Ceremony honoring those fishermen from Whatcom County lost at sea but remembered and honored at home. Additionally, those fishermen who passed away within the last year will be honored.
The Memorial Ceremony will be held at the Fishermens’ Memorial Statue at Zuanich Park in Squalicum Harbor at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2015. A Celebration with Seafood Barbecue and Potluck along with several bands, beginning with a performance by Vela Luka Croatian Dance Ensemble, will follow at The Squalicum Boathouse.
